Delivery Policy

You, or a courier you arrange, can collect from 17 Arbeid Street, Unit 13 Acacia Park, Strijdom Park, 2194. We let you know when the order is ready. Collection hours are 08:00 to 15:45 Monday to Thursday, and 08:00 to 14:45 on Friday (closed on weekends and public holidays).

• We arrange delivery by courier to the address you give us.
• Delivery is charged as a separate line on your quote, so you see the cost before you accept. It is not included in the price of the signs.
• Goods are packed to travel safely. Large or long items may need to go by road freight rather than overnight courier.

Most signs are made to order. The lead time is shown on your quote and is an estimate given in good faith. For prepaid orders, production starts once we have your approval and payment; for account customers, once we have your approval (and purchase order, where you need one). Our usual lead time is 5 to 10 working days; larger projects can take longer. Courier transit time is added to that.

We supply customers across Sub-Saharan Africa. You can arrange your own freight, or we can arrange a courier to your address and quote it separately. Customs duties, import taxes and clearing charges in the destination country are paid by you.

VAT on export orders follows the South African VAT Act and SARS's export rules:

• We deliver outside South Africa: the order is zero-rated (0% VAT), provided the goods leave South Africa within 90 days and we hold the export documents.
• You or your agent collect and export: we charge VAT at 15%. We zero-rate only where SARS's Export Regulations allow it and you give us the required export documents within 90 days. Otherwise, a qualifying foreign buyer can claim the VAT back from the VAT Refund Administrator.
• If the export documents aren't received in time, VAT at 15% becomes payable on the order and we will invoice it.

• Risk passes to you when you or your courier collect the goods, or when we deliver them.
• Please check the goods when they arrive. Report transit damage or shortages within 2 business days to sales@redhand.co.za, with photos and the invoice number.
• Goods remain Red Hand's property until paid for in full.
